Blue Sky Designs' new Minneapolis location is an 1810 square foot design studio in the Ivy Arts Building. It includes a workshop, design area and office space. The workshop is equipped with power tools and hand tools for fabricating prototypes and conceptual models.

Design tools include SolidWorks, 3D computer-aided design software, and the Dimension printer, a 3D modeler, which fabricates plastic parts via fused deposition modeling from SolidWorks files.

Affiliated facilities in northern Minnesota include Rovig’s Bark in the Dark Studio, a 2000 sq ft workshop/design studio.
